I have Kierans Punto in my rented garage while my pride and joy sits outside rotting in this great weather we get and I want to have it back.

I'm willing to tax it for him but on line it requires an insurance option ticking but that's his problem and ain't gonna happen!!!!!!

Is it really illegal and going to get me in to bother if I tick every box and just tax it???????

You wont be able to tax it nige.... once you click the button it checks the insurance database, and as it aint insured, it wont allow it to be taxed....

Oh knackers, I'm going to have to see if he'll reconsider having it off the road at his Dads then.
Thanks chaps.

No, our funny estate is all deemed as highway and we have a local fuk-wit that goes around and checks (was warned thankfully when we first purchased the car, a neighbour overheard him actually reporting it!!!!!)

I did hear on the news last week that there may be a new law being passed that even if the car is off road it will have to be insured.
