Setting up handbrake

Hi guys

I am going to be changing thr rear discs and pads on my vectra c 2.2 direct. Whats the best way to set up the handbrake please ??.

On the Vectra C, it's self adjusting. I believe following a disc and pad change (the caliper piston has to be wound back in using a special tool before the new pads are fitted) you press the brake pedal several times to settle the pads up against the disc. Then operate the hand brake lever 3 or 4 times to set it.
