sometimes you might try and make your z22se engine do something it does not want to do, usually thats okay, then sometimes ....

red arrow is a valve head, the other valve head was embedded into the cylinder head which broke through into the coolant channel and the coolant ended up in the sump !

wiseco 10:1 CR pistons are on order from the states, the original engine had Eagle steel rods already and they survived okay so will be re-used.

do not pass 7000 without double valve springs ?

Supertech double valve springs were fitted, however they don't tend to work very well if the engine is spinning in the wrong direction

there are many parts required to modify a Saab B207 to use in a z22se engined car

oil cooler blanking plate

exhaust cam blanking plug, with modification to use the z22se cam cover

The ITB manifold will be port matched for better flow, plus the PCV has been modified to work with the z22se inlet manifold. The B207 hole has been plugged and a new hole drilled to join the two chambers together.

I need to make some new injector blanking plugs as the core plugs are not a great method to use. I know of one z22se engine which failed because a core plug fell into the inlet and got sucked inside the engine, whoever installed that kit didn't install the core plug correctly.
