A pair of vise grips or plumbers grips should work

twist it in slowly and avoid the rubber boot. Not the perfect tool for the job but i have done it in the past

Im a genius, dont need them after all.:woot: I lay out an old brake disc then the caliper on top vertically with the piston facing the floor then inserted a 24mm socket onto it. Then aligned it with one of sub frame arms then released one of the jacks under the car to put pressure on the piston as i used adjustable grips to turn it back into position(y)total bodge but im now back on the road.
