We use a SEO company but maybr a small blog section with updates to the site / discounts / products will also help.

Yes mate, analytics was installed when I set the site up. Blog sounds like a good idea, will suggest that to them.

Shop is live and we've taken a few orders already

get yourself setup with the back end of google concerning webmaster, local business, adwords, google bots

then simply start registering on big forums and do your welcome etc with your sig as the website address, nothing blatent

get yourself a blog going

adsense is a joke now and it kills website access times

there is naughty ways of increasing PR though as i found out just for google to kick me off

All the google tools have been set up, and I've started on facebook this morning.

I've also been changing my web details in the forums I'm registered with.

Blog will be the next thing to set up for them.

It was Amy's last day with her current employer today, so it's all systems go now on the new shop, ready for the opening next week.
