charge cooler rad got lost in the post have to wait till next week now!!!
just got a vec c equal length shaft for the drivers side hoping it fits worth a try for £18 :)

today the charger,alternator,inlet is coming off
have to fit new z20net dipstick tube the wiring and relay for the charge cooler pump
then i need to fix the water leak on the dual pass mod must just be a bit of a pinhole in the weld

if i get bored i'm going to take the charger apart and nickle plate the drive gears in an effort to make it more quiet

bought a few bits for the pump
relay with fuse holder , terminals , crimping tool
feeler gauges to time the charger rotors better
and a 10w LED spot light for the ever growing dark nights

finally got the weld on the intake fixed with no leak yay only had to weld it grind it weld it grind it weld it grind it 3 times to get sealed it now holds mains water pressure lol had it piped up to the outside tap
also noticed the map sensor was not flush to the inlet so while it was off i took to sorting it

have fitted the z20net dipstick tube will see if the manifold will fit with it installed my oil level is full + 0.5L lol

made a part loom for the charge cooler pump will post some pics of that tomorrow/today

z20net dipstick was to much in the way so put the z22se back in and make precise adjustments with my knee

also took the belt tensioner off and regreased the bearing in the pulley
2 new z20net metal gaskets fitted to the phenolic spacer

swapped the pulleys round on the bracket so the smaller one was at the top giving more room for the radiator pipe

i also now have water cooled pistons to :) runs like a bag o shat
one of the laminova cores is passing water into the inlet manifold so go to take it all apart yet again just to fix the seal (o-ring) !!

That's a ball ache having to strip it all back again :(
it takes no time at all now :) 20mins the chargers off 30 mins later the inlet and alternator are off fixing the leak will be about 8 hours lol

finally the charge cooler rad came!! (shat pic) now to go drill a hole in it :)

had to fix me moms car today 1.6 vectra revving to 5-6k on its own once started bought a new icv and while i was fitting it found the inlet pipe split
vx wated £32 for the gm part so went to viper and got the same thing for £5.40

8mm rubber water hose
halfords drill bit set
various stainless jubilee clips
stud lock (medium strength)

tags and screws for mounting the chargecooler

shocking how poor some peoples work is! bet the guy that did it was well proud of it though.
i have since bought stainless wire for my mig its well easy compared to alloy (mig) steel (gasless mig)
have done a few tests on a bit of scrap stainless just need to get the right wire feed speed and then all will be good :)
i spoke with jason on the phone yesterday he said they bought powerflow 3 months ago and that work was shocking i told him about fitting the charger and the fact i need a bigger system he pointed me to doncaster powerflow and said he would get the downpipe sorted at the same time if i go there

My powerflow exhaust is blown at the weilds also. Decided against using them again.
my 2 1/4" cat back is great that was made in the telford branch thats now closed due to the guy going back to south africa he knew what he was doing
it is all down to the welder at the garage you go to
