leaving it out for the time being I never use it the ncdr1100 has had more use that the alpine in the last 6months lol

So it rolls the edge all the way up like a door skin over the frame?

Give you 10/15mm clearance?
you got it :) almost the same but you have to stretch the metal in to place
it says heat the paint with a heat gun to stop it cracking lol that was an impossibility as soon as the roller touched the arch all the loose paint fell off

its about 10mm but it will save the cutting of the tire wall now the 225/35/18's are on and I will beable to load the boot up and not catch

the other side is done now
the loose paint has been sanded and all the bare metal treated with fertan

once the fertan is dry I have to replace the seam sealer and apply a rustproofing paint and then recoat with shutz
then paint the lip the same color as the car and lacquer it all to seal it
lots of work ahead

Never heard of Fertan before this thread.. got a couple of patches that'll need its attention methinks.. nothing major and I want to catch them before they get that way.
