Yeah, just a real pain the bum these did not work :(

Will get another set sorted and up to you tho Rich :)

Nice Ferrari in the background. Girlfriends dad has the Spider version (but he is a tart) and its a lovely car. Real stable at speed like a heavy car, yet nimble round the twisties like a lighter car. Very fun :)

As soon as we have it sorted mate :(

I am getting the ones i sent away already back here on Monday. They will go back out that day to our other coating company and were going to try a thermal barrier coating rather than a cosmetic "Black Chrome" :)

Will keep you posted tho mate :)

Must be those pesky superchargers causing all the noise, lol.

Just slip the belt off and it will purr like a pussy cat :D

Glad you like it Vocky. Another happy customer :)

And before you ask Chris, the tailpipes will be just after next weekend ;)

Same people coated these as the guys who coat our downpipes. Like this Noble M12 GTO Race car system.

The cost of that system is £1800 + vat :) Sold about 200ish now in 4 years so not too bad but certainly not a fast mover, lol.

just to update this thread...........

the first batch of 2.5" backboxes all died an early death :(

Piper have redesigned the backbox and now it has a 29" long repackable silencer :D

my original lasted just 300 miles before the silencing material left via the tail pipes, hopefully the new design will last a little longer :silent:

Garry has also left Piper, so Tom is now dealing with these.

I am still using the replacement Piper 2.5" backbox and mine is still on the original 2009 packing :)

ps: I did have to modify it slightly
