New House

So, we've sold our house, and we moved out on the 13th November. Our new house hasn't completed yet, so we are currently living at the in-laws until we complete.

Can't wait to be in, as it's a lot bigger than the old house

Nice looking place mate. It's amazing the price difference between there and where I am. For that sort of money you wouldn't get a shoe box let alone four bedrooms and a garage.

Looks like we are still a couple of weeks off. There is a query regarding the solar panels on the root which still needs to be answered, and once that is done, we can push for a completion date.

That's what's causing the delay, the solar panels are renting space on the roof, so they are having to dig up the agreement and go over that.

Yeah, you obviously get the electric produced yourself first, and if you have any surplus electricity past your own needs, it can be fed back into the grid, so you "could" make money back from having them fitted. No idea what the sort of deal with this one is going to be though, which is why we need the contract finding and going over.

our house being a bungalow has 2 time the roof area we had organised for someone to come round they never turned up so i never found out how it all works out

Had an update today. Everything is now in place, just need to wait for the banks in the immediate chain to release the funds. Friday at the earliest, or the start of next week
