Mk1 Golf GTI…the project part 1

It was intended as a project for detailing, but as ever with these old cars it's ended up needing a little more than TLC. The work so far has taken a little longer than we planned but I guess that’s what to expect with a car that’s over 30 years old and has done 140,000 miles. First things first, the Golf was having a trip to get new panels, welding, under-sealing and a full re-spray. So here are some pics from before she went off, be sure to check back for more updates….
