Start with gap playing :

Ring gap between 0.3" and 0.4" , do you think it's correct to a S/C application ?

Mon ami, did you really mean that big a gap? or did you mean mm not inches?o_O
Yes Timbo : your right ! ;)
My feeler gauge is in mm !
So, end gap is between 0.0118" and 0.0157"

bore x application = gap :)
eg 3.38" x 0.0045" = 0.016"

Thank's Evo ;) i understand now how to read this table !

My end gap is little tight, in my case i must have:
86.52mm /25.4 = 3.40"
3.40" x 0.045" = 0.00153" for top ring

I must buy a more precise feeler gauge and found a cutting wheel.

Supercharged application are not like "Street moderate - Turbo" 0.0050" gap ?

Thank's men (y)

Stupid Bollocks
Staff
thats still a .0016" gap thats what im using .038mm - .040mm on the top ring the 2nd ring did not need adjusting on mine but you may have to with the Over size bore

turbo would be more power than supercharged

Some new parts imported from Autovaux:
(crank seal rings, crank bearings and guide, conrod bearings, crank pulley bolt, GM sealant)

a2.bp.blogspot.com___xEkviEqgG8_VYg5NNCxrJI_AAAAAAAAAWI_Mg1JisuLCjQ_s1600_P6220218.JPG

And used parts with only 5.000 and 10.000 miles from "the Bay":
(Oil pump, rockers, lifters, LSJ cover cam with coil cover, LS4 T/B)
