Hi,
Now that my Astra's S/C project is nearing completion (need a full 2.5" exhaust system): i want more !!
With this experience, and after having read many threads from z22se.co.uk guys, (vocky, evocarlos,...) i plan to rebuild an used engine lying aroung my garage.
The project is to make a +300hp engine.
Next, the engine will be put in a VX220.
I think the project will take me almost 2 years : time to do the job but especially the money come gradually.
Here is the list of changes I plan for this project:
_ Oversized Wiseco forged pistons 8.9 CR
_ Eagle conrods
_ Cylinders reboring
_ Ferrea +1mm Exhaust vales
_ B207 Cylinder Head
_ Porting and Polishing exhausts ports
_ Lightened flywheel
_ Balancing shafts removed
_ Uprated Clutch
_ Injectors (VXR or Bosch 650cc)
_ Harrop SC
_ 2.9" S/C Pulley
_ Phenolic gasket
_ LS4 T/B
_ 4 in 1 Exhaust manifold
_ Full exhaust system 3" with catalyst Sport 200cpi
_ ECU Remap (Obdtuner)
_ Purchase of the Speedster
_ Swap engine and burn asphalt !
A lot of work so that's why I plan a very wide timing!
