Lightweight car battery

As I see we have similar thoughts about many things. :)
I made a research about lightweight batteries few years ago and I found that all of them are overpriced and the weight saving wouldn't be so huge to worth deal with all the troubles (mounting, terminals, charging differences, etc). Finally I bought one of the lightest conventional battery Varta A16 which is only 9,7 kg and also very cheap. You can use the original mounting with it either. The weight saving was quite remarkable since the previous battery was over 17 kg. I used it for a while but its 340 A CCA is too little for cold winters (under 0°C), and I also had some hot starting issue that I could not resolve.
Now it has been replaced with Varta C6. The 520 A CCA seems enough, but it is also 2 kg heavier than A16.
