Leaking Transmission Fluid When Driving

Hey Everyone

I have a 2002 Auto Zafira that had just started pouring transmission fluid out. The tranny only seems to pur fluid out while the car is driving (really bad)

I clean up underneath the vehicle to try and pinpoint the leak but this is proving to be difficult.

I have removed the bung in the bottom of the transmission and gave it a good clean. then started the car and put it in park and it does not seem to leak a drop. As soon as i take her for a drive it starts pouring out really fast. I can see oil underneath the starter motor, coming outside the bung and all over the bottom of the transmission and passenger side drive shaft.

If its only leaking while driving would it be safe to presume the drive shaft seal is knackered? but how is the oil getting inside the tranny where the torque converter is?

is it red atf or black oil ?

it could be the rear crank seal if its black oil
if its atf (red) then check the oil cooling pipes to the radiator the auto box has a pump in i belabie and thats why it only leaks when driving
