Last consensus what is need for installing Comp Cams St1?

Hello,

after a long time, I want to install comp cams stage 1 ( finally some day :D ). What is the latest consensus after years of using them? Is it still a simple swap or did the continuous use of them show that other items are involved like roller followers, hydraulic lifters, valve springs, collets, oil seals, retainers, valves or their likes?

Thanks in advance
Don

Stage 1 cams are very mild with only a minimal gain over a standard cam and will work ok with the standard valve gear.
I ran the DBilas cams for quite a few years and around 70k miles with no other internal engine work. They are a nit more aggressive than the Comp cam stage 1.
Swapped to the Schrick cams with double valve springs and other work to get a better idle and smoother delivery of power.
Now on Cat cams stage 3 blower cam in the stroked B207 with DBilas valve springs.
