Is new old stock ok?

Ive decided to treat me my astra 2.2 with new front struts, rear shocks, front sway bar link pins and strut bushes/bearings - autovaux have offered me a deal on some genuine GM new old stock at a 60 pound discount over new genuine gm product Have no idea how old the components are and/or if they deteriorate with time. What do u guys think?? I was under the impression that bushing at least tend to go hard with age???

autovaux are a business n if it says new (even if it says new old) its still sold as new, which will automaticly have a 12month warrenty so i wouldnt worry about it much
