intermittent wiper pauses

hi guys, looking for a bit of help. My veccy b wipers pause, on intermittent, at the top for about 3-4 seconds and then return to parked. On faster settings they work fine. Would this be a relay problem or motor on its way out.

any input appreciated

hey normally its the copper wipers inside the motor that wear the tips out causing issues with wiper arms
its fixable with a soldering iron and a bit of thin copper tube

cheers, is that inside the main part of the motor with the torx screws. If so any idea what size torx bit I need to open it up
