This is the latest block from GM where the bore walls and bulkheads were strengthened with a weight increase of 1 kg (2.5 pounds). The coolant jackets were expanded to improve heat transfer, resulting in a coolant capacity increase of 0.5 liters. This block means no need for liners so perfect for these hi power builds.
I bought the engine complete from a damaged car that had covered 19k miles as all I was after was the block for another project. I got as far as stripping the head off and decided I'm going to go a different route with my engine so this is now for sale. Happy to sell the complete engine or £1000 for the block.
