Hi everyone... could anyone shed some light on this pls....
front n/s wheel bearing has gone on my vectra estate ... 2.2 xp.... I got a new bearing from euro car parts however the abs wire plug dose not match the plug on the cars loom... I can see you can detach the loom from the car, so do I need the loom to match or have they given me the wrong bearing? Will pop down tomorrow and try sort it out but just thought I'd do a bit of homework now... thanks in advance

There are two possible options for the Vectra C front wheel hub/bearing assembly depending wether it has IDS:

GM Part # 93175327 - Hub,Assy.,Front,with ABS Sensor (Except IDS+) (NLS - Use 93186387)

GM Part # 93186388 - Hub,Assy.,Front,with ABS Sensor
http://www.autovaux.co.uk/product/93186388-1603295-vectra-signum-ids-wheel-bearing.aspx

It's worth checking the o/s bearing as it's prudent to renew the bearings as a pair (but more expense obviously), and the front wheel alignment may require checking after renewal too.

Hope that may help. :)

Thanks guys .. just an up date .. just got back from euro's and yes they'd given me the wrong hub... clearly reg number doesn't always give you the correct part... however asking the girl on the service desk to cross ref the vin number bought up the right part... .. yes a bit more expensive as I did buy a pair but hey ho... but on a good note the weather is on my side today, so all good!
Thanks for your input chaps ... Rob
