I am about to install oil pressure and oil temperature through a remote from the oil pressure switch port. My question is I want to keep the original oil pressure switch but what fitting do I need to relocate the oil pressure switch to a t piece.

M12 x 1.75 is the thread size, not much available in the UK but you should be able to locate the fittings from the USA

standard oil pressure switch is m14 x 1.5 is it not ?

If I welded a threaded boss to the sump for the oil temperature sender would it work. Any feedback appreciated
