egr blanking plate unplug?

Hi im thinking of putting an egr blanking plate in my vectra but also did some research some people say that I can just unplug it? I have never done this or tryed so any help will be great thanks

Fit it along with an EGR Cheater that we sell via our shop. You can then totally remove the EGR valve.

Well forget that idea just found out cant do the egr cheater coz my vectras 1998 model ah well back to the square one

can't find any other info
no time need to fit stuff to my car lol
