Cruise control problem!!

Hi had a problem with the EML coming on and cutting out the cruise control so had it on a diagnostic machine and the code P0571 came up which is the cruise brake switch also the code P1574 which I have no idea was showing up anyway I bought a new 4 pin brake switch hoping that it would be that but have took it for a run and the EML came on again!! Could it be the CC stalk as I will buy another one and try it! Its really cheesing me off now cause when I first fitted it it was working fine and does anyone else know what the other code is for? are you brake lights working correctly too, might also be a bad connection, disconnect the battery and re-seat the ecu plugs (remove and refit)

Check ure ABS rings m8....mine was throwing up that code a while back,new switch fitted etc and still doin it....found the N/S/F abs ring was cracked....fitted new and no probs since.
