As requested in my welcome thread here is a build process thread for my 2006 Cobalt SS/SC

It started life as a Supercharged LSJ. I followed the typical build path by adding a smaller pulley, bigger injectors, intake and exhaust. I quickly discovered that the supercharged route just wasnt for me. I began piecing together a turbo kit. I purchased a t3/t4 garrett turbo that ended up being stolen from my apartment. That lead me to search out an even better turbo and I began to notice the success of builders using Borg Warner turbos. I picked up a BW s366xl for a great price and began building around it. So a year and $10,000USD later I had my perfect kit. I know that seems a lot, but I have a lot of one of a kind pieces that were very costly to be made and most manufacturers here did not offer kits at the time. After tuning and lots of changes, the car dyno'd at 438whp (over 500bhp) and 333wtq. All of this is on a completely stock LSJ motor assembly. I drove the Cobalt for a little more than a year before the pistons just couldnt handle it anymore and it came apart. I have been building since then. After the rebuild, I would like to make over 600whp on 93 octane pump gas.

that's a serious car there! :)
wish I had enough room in the corsa to have such a large turbo and manifold. :(
same GM never brought these cars over here to sell.

Very nice! Yea would be hard to get a turbo in there, having the battery upfront takes a lot of space, thank god the cobalt has the battery in the trunk
