so after fitting old discs ,learnt my lesson and bought some new discs and pads ( should have done it to start with ) replaced drivers side caliper for some reason the piston wouldn't wind all the way in, so wouldn't fit when new pads fitted , so after running car for few hundred miles the turbo engine runs hotter than the z22se , so when parked up or in traffic the genuine fan does come in at 90 degrees , but not happy so fitted a pair of spal after market fans to help,,,,,,

so after only 300 miles on turbo engine , started using oil + smoking a bit ? on full throttle no smoke , driving like miss daisy smoking a little , after looking on vx220 forum found a old section from 2014 about the pcv valve ? the yanks have been blanking this off because oil in inlet issues , so blanked it off using old pvc valve filled with silicone , after finding oil in my inlet , so drilled oil cap and piped into oil catch can , went for another learning session after fitting bored out throttle body and turning boost up a little , and fitted a badge ive had a little while ,,,,

The net thermostat is 92c open even tho its labled 82c ive recently had this issue and now running a standard astra stat the fans now cool the engine water lol
The oil is either the turbo passing or the pcv valve faild but then to consider the valve seals to seals are normally smoke from cold
The pcv valve system is fine as long as the valve is ok even if not its only £7 to replace it
Also with the cap off and the engine running you would see oil mist if the engines a heavy breather and that lol
Lovely oil smell in the cabin from the drilled cap :)

Cant believe you never mentioned that i did your seals hehe :) and with the head on
The pcv valve 9/10 can be cleaned with carb cleaner and blown thru and work perfectly well its the case that normally rubbish gets under the flap and holds it open
