ABS & SPEEDO

hi all (and happy new year)
My partners vectra b 1.6 16v had developed a C0121 code relating to valve relay malfunction which is inside the abs module,
the speedo worked fine just no abs as the abs light was on. i sourced a used module with pump from germany, split the module from the pump and fitted it to the car, now abs light is still on but speedo and odometer dont work, original module was TRW - replacement is kelsey hayes although all part numbers matched up.
my question is, do the pump and module have to be replaced together or need programming etc

normally you have to swap like for like and match the alpha code on the part (ee for ee)

also maybe worth checking the abs rings for rust and cracks

The only letter on there which is different is the 'M' highlighted in red. (and being kelsey hayes rather than trw)
ABS rings look fine after a clean up, speedo worked fine before the swap over, and now opcom wont connect to abs module, waiting on a reply from seller on ebay.
