I have for sale a W reg Astra CD 1.6 16v. Its very clean for the year and is completely standard. I bought it recently to run around in while I was getting my car fixed and it is now surplus to requirements. I fitted a replacement engine in it a little while back which had covered 98,000 miles, the car itself has covered 130,000.
Spec:
2000 W reg Astra CD
1.6 16V
130,000 miles (just had engine with 98,000 miles fitted)
Dark metallic green
15" alloy wheels
New front discs and pads
New thermostat
Alternator/power steering belt
Oil and filter
spark plugs
Air filter
6 months tax
1 month MOT
Cambelt looks to be fairly recent and it runs perfectly with no problems.
It will probably need a n/s front wheel bearing for the mot as its a little noisy, there is a scrape on the n/s rear arch and a dent in the o/s front wing which can be pushed out (or wing replaced). This hasn't stopped me from driving it round and its a great little motor.
Ideal first car or cheap runabout....
I'm looking for £600 ono, car is near watford and can be viewed after 5.30pm eves or at the weekend....
