Wing mirror extra mystery connector

Hi, I have a 2.2 petrol Signum Elite. Facelift model of Nov 2005. Thr driver's side wing wing mirror has two connectors for the heater circuit. But also a flat two pin unpolarised plug and socket .....Any idea what this one is for ? Regards to all
