Hello everyone. I have a strange problem with the engine(z22se). When the car is cold, at startup it takes 5-10 seconds until oil pressure builds up. When the vehicle is hot, it shortens to 1-2 seconds. The idle is steady At 5 bars, it drops to 3 bars when the engine get to working temperature...

When mine was replaced,only the gearbox was taken out.you can replace the gearbox seal as well when the gearbox is out

Hello.did you open the relief valve without taking the pump off? Did it solve the problems? I have strange low pressure started a week ago. 2.2 bar at worm idle.goes up only to 4 bar at 4000rpm and above. At the past,was 2.2 bar plus 1 bar for every 1000 extra rpm.thanks, Nir

Thanks.is a combination of z22se head plus lower half from a z22yh,with 5-2 external trigger wheel is a good match,or just stick with the z22se as is.the compression ratio is higher at the z22yh.will the valves of the z22se be ok with it? Will more hp will be gain ?
