Hi I just did my chain on a z22se after a few weeks started again so had a look, yesterday the big guide with adjuster at top bolt at bottom, the bolt had snapped, so I fixed it primed the adjuster but I can hear it moving, the adjuster might be knackered I'm guessing, what else can it be dont...

I took the cover off the chain was a good bit out ,the bolt on the long guide was broken so the tensioner wasn't pushing against anything, reset timing replaced bolt and still rattling, might it be sticky valves got a vid of noise but can't get it to post

I got a garage to do the job , can I unscrew the tensioner and check if it's sprung, if it's jumped do I hav to strip it all down again??

I did the chain went great for a couple of weeks, then started getting sluggish, went down to 3 cylinders, now Sounds like a bag of spanners, ??? Any information would be great guys

Im going to take A day off and do the job myself , i put a bit instant metal in next to plug and it has held fr over s year still holding , just hope it comes out ok ,i do want to fit a blower bit at s time ae, got parts , nobody really wants job at just 5 hrs Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
