i have an lcd monitor @75hz and a 42' plasma connected all running sweet. The faster the refresh rate the less screen flicker. If you right click the standby screen and go to properties/advanced then tick the box 'Hide refresh rates my monitor doesn't support' you will be ok.

Get yourself another 2 drives and mirror them using RAID1. That way you still have performance with all the security :D

you need to alter the sound delay on your amp, not familiar with that model but if its a proper av amp it should have those settings. lcd, plasme, crt, and projection screens all have different delay settings. Its funny you havent noticed the lip sync is out when listeng through your amp.
