yea mate had the new 1 on all weekend and it was warmed up before it was checked today. the readings were off the map and it was smoking like you wouldnt beleave. cant understand it try again tommorow with the old 1 on and the pre cat removed lambas are working properly on that and no smoke.

tensioner! i had the same problem and my chain had only been change 10 months earlier. i just changed the tensioner and problem sorted. easy enough job to do.

i got the timing chain kit off ebay a seller called vauxhallpartswarehouse for £90 and the balance chain kit was £140 from swarland motor parts but that was with discount as iam in the trade. good luck!

unplug the coil pack and put a power bar on and get a mate to crank it. that normaly does the job if not a windy gun.

be the chain. it should always be replaced if removed. that will cure it.
