So the mechanical power steering pump can be taken off and a blanking plate installed and I can install this 2.2 out of vectra b into Astra g Coupe? If I decide to do it, is there anything to look after, or will the swap require any modification beside the pump?

Recently changed all the gear selector bushings with the repair kit of the e-bay but still experiencing the left-right play in the shift selector. Went and recorded it and I can see that the gear selector no longer has the play bu t the left-right selector cable has some play near the gearbox...

I adjusted mine today and actually it worked. I had about 5mm "dead spot" in the pedal, ended up adjusting it and got it just right.

After changing the coolant and rubber O rings for the heater matrix, when heater fan is turned on, engine coolant temparature is getting lower. Anyone knows what might be the cause?

Hello all, I own 2001 Astra Bertone with Z22SE and was wondering, how much of a blowby should there be when oil cap is taken off? Engine is on 235 000 KM / 146 000Miles ? Would blowby effect cold starts ?

And yes you could say engine maintains revs when you depress the throttle for like half a secound or so, but it' really really annoying, it makes my shifts really jerky unless Im very carefull at releasing my clutch pedal.
