PLEASE NOTE IF YOU HAVE A STANDARD HEAD UNIT MAKE SURE YOU HAVE THE CODE TO UNLOCK IT AS YOU WILL NEED TO REMOVE THE RADIO.

Took me around half an hour but allow abit longer
Step 1
First you need to remove you head unit and the cage.
Step 2
With the ashtray open put your finger behind the piece of plastic around the cigarette lighter and pull it forward it should pop out very easy.(make sure you remove the lighter first )
Step3
Next with the ashtray open you should see 4 Torex head screws (star shaped), 2 hold the console, 2 hold the ashtray. All 4 need to be removed. As circled below.
Step 4
With them undone the next step is to remove the t/c panel the easy way to this is to get a small screwdriver and place it down the back of the panel and price it up (be careful not to damage the panel)
Step 5
Place you hand in the gap and pull on the ashtray not to hard it will come out very easy, when it’s out disconnect the cigarette lighter and move it to one side.
Step 6
Next you need to remove the 2 screws that are in the radio slot there is one on each side.
Step 7
With those out of the way the next step is to lift the centre console from the bottom and pull it up wards and forward it should pull out fairly easy but take your time.
Step 8
With it lose you need to remove the wires on the back. First remove the cable going to the mfd unit this is held in by a clip on the top bit like a mouse trap it needs to be pushed over then the lead will pull out.
Step 9
Finally remove the heater control unit the easy way to this is to lift up the for spring clips 2 on the top 2 on the bottom and the unit will just push backwards.
After that if you push the heater vents backwards they will pop out and then the centre console will pop out.
That’s it to replace it’s just a reverse of taking it out.
That’s it job done.
