Tools Required
Torex screw driver (star shaped).
Small flat bladed screwdriver.
A pair of long nose pliers.
Time taken
Took me around an hour but that was taking pics as well
Step 1
Turn your front wheels to full right lock you will then see the 2 screws that need to be undone. Using the Torex screw driver undo both screws. Then turn your wheel to full left lock and repeat for the other side.
Step 2
Now you need to get under the car and locate the 3 clips holding the bumper on to remove these clips, you have to remove the pin out of the centre to do this use a pair of long noised pliers, then the out clip will pull out.
Step 3
Next you need to release the bracket in each wheel arch before you take any more pins out.
To do this, carefully prise out the corner at the top of the arch. The bumper is also slightly
held in under the wing but it should release quite easily.
Step 4
The last thing to do remove the last 2 clips on the top of the bumper to access these clips
open your bonnet and with a small screwdriver prise the cap up wards and they will just pop
out. Be careful when you take the last pin out as the bumper will fall it’s best to have a sheet
under it so you don’t mark the bumper in any way. Or get someone to hold it while you take the last 2 pins out.
Step 5
The last thing to do is to unclip the air temperature sensor and fog lights if you have them fitted.
Your bumper will then be free to move away
Refitting.
To refit your bumper it’s exactly the opposite of removal. things to watch out for are When
refitting the brackets in the arch the bumper may not fit correctly with a soft tap on the
bumper I used the palm of your hand so I never damaged anything and it should push into
place.
