ABS SWAP?

Hi guys, would it be ok to swap a abs ecu on a 2.2 direct with a 1.9 one? as havive issues with abs/tc light on all the time after. Changing out hub and renewing wiring and still same problem . Thanks

Some of the newer Vauxhalls have the ABS unit coded to the car so can not be swapped without being divorced from old car then remarried to the new car. not sure if your car will fall into this bracket?

Thanks for your reply man yeah i had a inkling that would be the case. Just that ive got a spare one from a 1.9. Have you had work done with them before?

yes, i have used them and a few other people i know. all been happy with their work.
