I dont think the tullet manifolds sound too bd Chris. Sounded worse with the standard down pipe, but with the 2.5" piper down pipe, it sounded much better. I for sure wouldn't get rid of it.

Well she is back! Very pleased with the end result.

It has been a while since I last updated this. The decision was taken to paint the rest of the car, and every single piece of trim! Here is how we are with her now! [/URL Also had the se-belts re-webbed and re-coiled in red to match the leather. Hopefully she'll be back home in a weeks time!

Fresh out of the oven. Not yet polished. Had to try the indicator surround! Really pleased with how it looks against the red! The panels are being polished tomorrow, then the re-build will start early next week.

Thanks! I won't be doing anything on her this year. Too many things on the cards at home etc. But if all goes to plan, 2017 is when I will finally get my arse in gear and start on the engine. What I'll do is not clear yet but it will get some serious attention!

Hi Carl, in theory yes, and I did consider this route. But the grill you have doesn't have a badge mounting plinth, so it would just look stuck on. I wanted it to look factory.

If you have an Astra G grill, then either the pre-facelift Insignia tailgate badge or Zafira Tourer tailgate badge is the perfect size.
