I've just picked up a Vectra 2006 2.2 direct after my Astra died, chain went and there was no signs that it was going to give way, but i was holding doing and there it went. The vectra has only done 66k but over 10 years so rather not leave it too long. With Xmas coming up I'm looking to do it...

I guess I just worry about adding that power to an older engine, like what gremlins am I going to find. Plus it has the stopping power of a mouse right now, so looking to source the bist to increase the disc size for the fronts, some Mtec discs and not sure on pads yet.

Oh nice I've been before and really enjoyed it. In regards to the Corsa, always wanted a little 1.3 diesel, not sure what you can do with them in terms of tuning, but thought it would be a nice little project.
