Got a boot leak coming from where the rear wiper motor goes through the boot. Tried to remove the motor and the rubber seal to replace it but I can't get it out. The rubber seems to be glued to the motor. Anyone got any suggestions?

Yeah it is definitely the remote you are missing. Doesn't really matter where it connects in the adapters. Think the wire is blue with white stripe but don't quote me. You just need to fish this wire out from the dash and connect it to the remote line. Job done. The lights on the controls...

When you switch the radio on does the date stay on the third row? If so there is a remote wire you've disconnected. I had a play when I changed mine and found that this stopped the lights and date changing. Hope this helps!
