The sensor has now been put in just before the stretchy bit :roll: have been driving it a few days now. My first impressions were very good, in fact quite surprised by the difference but it did not last. Was it placebo effect or the ECU adjusting itself I dont know, Id like to think it proved...

I have not tried it yet, only to see if it fits. I need to get a 20mm hole saw for the air sensor. What I like is that it looks like standard parts, not modded.

I read a few topics about the Vecta C air intake pipe being used instead of the standard one. It seems pretty obvious why, the Vectra one does look a lot more free flowing. What cars have people managed to fit these on? Would it fit a VX220, maybe with a few mods? Are they really only...

Thats clearer now. I need to restore the lower fuel pressure at idle because mine is pretty much standard apart fom big holes in the airbox. So on the standard air intake pipe on a XV220 oppsite the FPR pipe is a large 10mm pipe, is this pipe also expecting a vacuum?

This certainly is confusing now. So is this correct: A modified air intake reduces the vacuum pressure? Reduced vacuum pressure increases the fuel pressure? The vacuum pipe totally removed/blocked would produce the highest fuel pressure? On some configurations higher pressure...
