Yep, very clean, fsh, 77k on clock. The prodrive kit good, I think it looks great? The back box is irmscher twin pipe, not looked if the center section been modified yet, but
if not heard that changing it to more performance one improves the car?...

veccy c z22yh inlet pipe, will be the easiest , the mod is on here if you search for it, 2.4 inlet manifold ,port out throttle body, knock pre cat out of down pipe, the rest is a bit harder, balance shaft delete , port and polish exhaust ports, supercharger,,,,

Nothing simple (or cheap) that you do will get you much in the way of more power..
Getting rid of the precat might be slightly noticeable, throttle body port/polish should get rid of the 'step' in power delivery at about 3.5k rpm (iirc).
Best thing we did was fit a k&n panel filter.. one of the very few instances where fitting a 'performance' filter made an actual positive difference.

Cheers for that :) The veccy c inlet pipe seems a good mod, guess I could pick one of those up from scrap yard?

How does the 2.2 Sri compare to the GSi turbo (unmoddied of course).

done most of the modding myself ,ported throttle body , veccy inlet pipe , balance shaft delete , ported polished exhaust ports , pre-cat removed, if you go down the page to projects , look for my astra edition project a few pics on there for you ,

Yer the vx220 is about twice as fast as an sri ;) that u and i have

To start with......

1. De-restrict the Air box - do a search here for a "how to"
2. Panel filter - not used a k/n and pipercross are good choices
3. Port the throttle body - if you're interested i have one lying about...
4. Remove pre-cat

Combined those mods will increase throttle response significantly will feel like you have an extra 200cc. Im not really a fan of the veccy c pipe - i didnt notice much diff at all with that at all by that stage i had done mods 1-3 above....

Make sure plugs are right.. fluids and filters are fresh...
Coming up for that time when chains might be a concern too??
Would the oil jet thingy still be the duff one in an 02??

After all the above (everyone's suggestions - although I have been told the 2.4 inlet manifold isn't worth it) then you're getting into muchos dinero territory...
