2.2 vectra b exhaust manifold

Btw the stud go from bottom upwards don't worry guys think people are getting confused the stud is broken right to end of manifold lol its broke about a mil from downpipe end

evocarlos, are the manifold to downpipe studs really M10 ?
pretty sure they are kevin the manifold to head studs are M8 the manifold to downpipe is m10

no confusion :) the info i have posted is all about the manifold to downpipe studs as i had one broken :) but it was flush with the manifold flange
unless your on about the downpipe to cat flange bolts then there would be a spanner in the works lol :)

Yes Carl M10, checked on my EPC as well (y) , it's just that on 'partsbase' the description on the right lists the nuts as M8 & M10 :confused: (as seen on your capture above).
I noticed it in your post # 6 above
#5 90570845 NUT, HEX., M8, FRONT EXHAUST PIPE TO CATALYST

Edit: Your capture above was for the Astra (I know the parts are same in this case) but if you try doing what you did above on partsbase for the Vectra B, it doesn't list the studs as M10 x 25.

with the down pipe removed
fitting a nut and peen the end over on the stud would most likely get it out
