bertone2008 hi all i done a service on my astra bertone 2.2 it seems to hae the power and drives ok. but when its idleing its a bit lumpy. wat rpm shud it idle at? any help
bertone2008 thats wat my mate said ta me who serviced it.. but shud the dash light dim and the exsurst note sounds like its poping...
vocky did you replace the plugs ? also it might be worth cleaning the throttle body and then disconnect the battery for 20 minutes to allow the ecu to reset, then drive moderately for 30 miles or so to allow the ecu to relearn the various parameters.
bertone2008 plugs oil filter oil air filter, and cleand tb disconecting battary it wont upset anything else will it eg alarm ?
vocky there is a way to reset the service light, I'm sure one of our astra owners will be able to help 🙂
vocky to reset the astra service light.... With the key out of ignition (or in off position) press and hold the mileage trip button...keep it pressed and insert key and turn to IGN (ie lights on dash but dont start engine) keep it pressed for a few seconds until INSP disappears and is replaced by flashing "- - - - -" release the button and the INSP warning light has been reset
