Hi folks...just joined up.
Bought a Vevtra SRI 2.2 Direct 05 plate last night so thought I'd get involved in the forum.
picking the car up on Sunday so only got 1 question so far...have realised that shortly before my model was produced, the sports suspension was made 'optional', so I'm assuming mine prob dosen't have it (the salesman wasn't exactly keen on me testing it to the extent the suspension would be properly used!!)
I take it the Vauxhall 'sports suspension' is just slightly uprated shocks and springs and easily superceded by a Koni kit or similar...anti roll bar, bushes etc just the same?
I'm also a bit concerned over all the timing chain talk...I had a good listen under the bonnet with no rattles to be found. What is the max mileage these should be changed at? Service book is stamped up but no mention of a new chain. Car has covered 35000 miles.
