I did my girlfriends astra coupe at the weekend, thanks to all the help on this forum it was straight forward enough. The astra coupe is very tight for space and getting the engine mount off involved lots of swearing the final bolt is really hard to access and needs a spanner, luckily a 15mm spanner fits the inverse torx bolt. Got it all done in about 6 hrs but I also did the sway bar drop link at the same time (that was a PITA to get undone) and lost a 3/8th drive extension bar which added another couple of hours so all in it was a days work. The local dealership supplied me the wrong rocker cover gasket so I had to fit the old one I will keep and eye on it and see if it holds up. Only thing is I never did find that extension bar I fear in it may have fallen inside the chassis members, I jacked the car up and couldn't find it stuck in anything, of course I may well have put it away in a 'safe' place somewhere cryb..
