Looking at the direct manifold fitted to the late C's and Signums it runs different manifold with 8 runners. 4 that run at low revs and all 8 run at high revs. As found with many guys running the 2.4 manifold, the larger than stock runners give better full throttle performance but lose out on power low down. If this direct manifold could be modified to work with our cars would it be beneficial to us? Instead of the actuator being altered by the ECU do you recon the flaps could be mechanically opened at full throttle?
As you probably know the 2.4 TB does not work on my MAF 2.2, the same as your MAP 2.2's, I wonder if it would work on the direct with the variable flow manifold?
I'm going to ask around the C forum to see if any direct owner wants to be guinea pig.
What do you guys recon, or am I just talking balls. notsure.gif
