Yet another problem!!!
My Eng Elec's light has been coming on very intermitently for the past 4 weeks (ish), my alternator packed up at the end of August and it's been doing it pretty much since then, the thing is there is no consistency as to when it comes on, for example it lasted a week without coming on last week but has now been on everyday this week on the way to work, but only twice on the way home, however its only ever came on whilst on the motorway, doing approx 60 +.!!!!! - although I've tried making it come on in all sorts of ways!!!!
I've also had a head light bulb and tail light bulb blow this week (haven't used lights for a while), I don't think this would be linked.
Could this be a problem caused from the old alternator as it was well and truly fubered, the new alternator, or (hopefully the answer), a loose connection somewhere, if so, any idea where to start?????
