Karlosfandango The brick has just failed the MOT on excessive wear on the offside front inner track rod end ball joint. Having just done a search is it just a straightforward swap for one of these http://www.eliseparts.com/shop/index.ph ... cts_id=309 ?
vocky inner track rod end is the rack ball joint :thumbdown: outer is the track rod end ball joint have a word with Techieboy, he is the expert with vx220 racks :thumbup:
rik1083 those (the s2 ones) are a straight swap for the outer track rod ends (had to do this on my last mot).. but for inner I have no idea... apart from I think it's a big job to get in there 🙁 he might mean the outer one though, as the inner one isnt visible so how did the mot-er know that was the prob. Jack the car up and waggle the wheel, see if there's play in it
chris_uk if this is still open vaux do the rear inner, rod and outer track rods (complete set) for £60 not sure on the fronts tho,
