sdbutler10 So far i have 165.2 bhp and 152.8lbft with these mods s/s exhaust 2.5" 200cell cat 4-1 manifold larger intake pipes panel filter (k&n) egr removed 2.4 manifold i have some cams coming and then im going in for a TMS remap but what else can i do for more power. i dont want to go down the port and polish route or blancer shaft removal as i need my car every day. Scott
JohnnyN 2.5 inch downpipe will help a lot too. Combine that with some cams and you'll be looking in the region of 175/180bhp at an educated guess?? Have you removed the precat?
vocky we all want more power  but with cams fitted and a tms 2.4 remap you should get a decent bhp figure after that it's ported head and balancer delete etc
sdbutler10 yer i want a down pipe i have got the pre cat removed forgot to put that down. is there any new TB i can fit does the 2.0c one fit?
JohnnyN Cost of tuning can run into many thousands of £££'s. I'm a testiment to that. Yet there are still cheap mods to be done. Removal of the pre cat is free. Sports cats can be sourced for less than £100. Daz can do 2.5 custom downpipes. Decent panel filter and air box mods for less than £50.
bigstring Sports cats can be sourced for less than £100???????? where to big man??? whats daz charging for 2.5" of fun these days? JohnnyN said: Cost of tuning can run into many thousands of £££'s. markv Depends on how much power you want.. With my current mods (2.5" exhaust on standard exhaustmanifold, 2.4 intake manifold and custom remap) the engine puts out around 200bhp. Limit currently seems to be the throttlebody, as there is a slight vacuum starting at higher RPM's. Guess some gain should me made from an exhaust manifold that actually flows. Last step would be cams with higher lift and a bit more duration I guess. Think it should be pretty quick then. Mark
Daniel let us now how u get on wid the cams m8 things about starting what you got done and more so be nice to see if its any good ?? lol cheers
Daniel how do i talk to this (daz) intrested in getting down what ya have said m8 ??? any help would be good cheers Dan JohnnyN said: Cost of tuning can run into many thousands of £££'s.
