First of all, greetings from Latvia!
My Astra Coupe 2.2 is one of 3 z22se coupes (haven't got any info 'bout veccy's yet)
So far I had almost every crappy problem with it but solved successfully.
The news are - we in Latvia have different prices:
Chain kit 320 quid
Ignition module 200 quid (got from UK for 99.99, thank God)
Still, after about 15k and an oil change, I get rattle again - freaks me out :shock:
The kit was replaced at local garage, that has nothing to do with Opel, as I was told to go f**k myself, when asked for field remedy. That time I tried almost everything.
After reading all the threads, I couldn't sum up, what could be the prob.
Are there any common checks I could do to determine the cause of the problem (like - chain, tensioner, oil starving maybe?)
Any way, I just do not want to change the car as it is a pleasure to drive and I cannot drive vx220 here. 🙁
Any help would be appreciated.
This winter I am planning on some upgrades like CarPC, Angeleyes some more things and I just keep wondering if I should really do that.
