rushy I'm after the part number for the uprated main chain tensioner (if there is an uprated one) pls guys. My car is still making the noise on start up, but I can control when it does in now. If the engine is cold it doesn't do it and if its hot it doesn't do it only when warm (about 2 hours since last start). So not ideal and I need to get it sorted. New tensioner first then its going to be the lifters if that doesn't sort it. Cheers, steve.
vocky it's the z20net tensioner, not sure of the part number did you have the balancer chain replaced, it may be that which is rattling
